The kids liked this one, and to be honest, I enjoyed it as well. Don Knott's goofiness with Darren McGavin as the straight guy made for a good comedy formula, and being a fan of both actors I enjoyed the chemistry. The kidnapping subplot was ridiculous but it worked, I guess, in order to give the viewers the chance to see Don Knotts climbing out on a building construction site chasing a pet skunk. Yeah, that's the kind of thing you're in store for. Goofy stuff.No Deposit No Deposit, No Return 1976
